The Trainer

My career started with an online education and apprenticeship at the Ottawa Canine School. While their physical location was open I was able to work my way up to teaching group classes and training full time.

From there I moved to the Ruff house and continued my professional advancement by teaching a wider variety of curricula and taking on behavioural private training cases.

Working my way up to the position of Head Trainer allowed me to develop my own curriculum and detailed training plans.

I have accumulated thousands of hours of practical hands on experience refining my techniques along the way.

A good dog trainer never stops learning, and I look forward to meeting you and your dog.

The Location:

The owner of Mutts and Pups dog daycare has graciously allowed me the use of her space while daycare operations aren’t offered.

The working space is quite different from others that I have worked in. In the differences I see opportunity.

We will be taking full of advantage of the environment indoors and out to recreate scenarios that may prove to be challenging with your dog.

Mutts and Pups are looking to grow our businesses together in a new location. In the meantime I am excited to take full advantage of this unique location to work with people and their dogs.

The Training:

Every dog and handler will have unique goals and needs.

I will match each individual team with a curriculum or training plan that best suits their current abilities and desired outcomes.

Our common goal will be to have our dogs constantly challenged but not overwhelmed.

Group classes and private sessions will always be followed with detailed homework emails. This allows for progress to happen gradually and consistently.

Support by email, phone or zoom will be available throughout the training process and beyond.
